Role Description The CA Article Trainee will work full time in office at the firm’s office in Delhi, India. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers, and supporting compliance activities related to Income Tax, GST, and other regulatory requirements. The trainee will help in drafting returns, reviewing financial statements, and supporting assignments in international taxation and IndAS-related work under the supervision of senior team members.
The role also involves working on NGO and non-profit registration and compliance files, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with clients to collect and verify data. The trainee is expected to follow professional standards, meet deadlines, and actively participate in learning and training initiatives within the firm.
Qualifications
- Registered CA Article Trainee under the ICAI, with completion of required CA Intermediate/IPC examinations as per applicable regulations.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, financial statements, and Indian tax and GST concepts; willingness to learn international taxation and IndAS.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and accounting/tax software; ability to prepare schedules, reconciliations, and working papers accurately.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to manage multiple assignments while meeting timelines and maintaining confidentiality.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a structured, on-site professional environment.
