Role Description The Business Development Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The trainee will support business development activities by identifying potential clients, assisting with lead generation campaigns, and conducting basic market research on target industries.

Daily tasks include engaging with prospective and existing clients via calls, emails, and meetings, maintaining and updating client databases, and preparing simple reports or presentations on business opportunities.



The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to understand service offerings, responding to client inquiries, and providing timely follow-up to strengthen relationships. The position is designed to provide structured training, mentoring, and hands-on experience to help the trainee grow into a business development professional.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret basic market and business data.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify and qualify potential business opportunities.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to ensure skilled and responsive support to clients.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field are preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic CRM tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a team, adapt to a rapid-paced environment, and demonstrate a proactive, learning-oriented mindset.
