Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Chennai.

The Business Development

Manager will identify and pursue current business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and support the growth of the agency’s advertising and branding services. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing and delivering pitches, coordinating with the creative and account management teams, and tracking sales pipelines and performance metrics. The role also involves negotiating contracts, gathering client feedback, and contributing to strategic planning to expand Crazy Pencilz’s presence in key markets.

The Business Development

Manager is expected to represent the brand professionally, understand client needs, and collaborate internally to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong client relationship management and account management skills, with the ability to build trust and sustain long-term partnerships.
- Candidates should possess sales, negotiation,



and lead generation skills to identify opportunities, close deals, and drive revenue growth.
- Candidates should possess business strategy, market analysis, and planning skills to develop growth plans aligned with agency objectives.
- Candidates should possess communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to deliver persuasive pitches and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of advertising, branding, and marketing concepts, with the ability to translate creative ideas into business value.
- Relevant experience in business development, sales, or account management in advertising, branding, or a related creative industry is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and use CRM tools and productivity software effectively.
