Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the chance to be responsible for Optimizes the Production organisation's assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety.



The work model for the role is: Li-Onsite The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Power Business to be based at Nelamangala, Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for: Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies for new products using DFA methodology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design efficient assembly processes and line architectures aligned with Lean principles. Coordinate industrial performance initiatives through digitalization, standardization, energy-efficient approaches, and the incorporation of innovative technologies in alignment with ABB’s sustainability and product roadmaps. Lead end-to-end equipment and assembly line development — from preparing RFQs, supplier selection, validation, and commissioning to ROI analysis and capacity simulation for new products.
