Organization Unit Purpose

- The Transaction Banking Services (TBS) unit provides corporate banking solutions across cash management, payments, trade, supply chain finance, and digital banking channels.
- TBS supports corporate clients by enabling seamless, efficient, and secure transaction banking services through digital platforms and operational enhancements.
- The BOX Program focuses on strengthening digital banking capabilities by supporting business requirements, system changes, testing, and delivery quality across corporate banking applications.

Job Purpose

- The BA-QA will support functional testing and business acceptance testing for corporate banking applications under the TBS - BOX Program.
- This is a techno-functional QA-BA role, combining business analysis understanding with functional quality assurance and testing responsibilities.
- The role will coordinate with business stakeholders, product teams, technology teams, vendors, and testing teams to ensure application changes are validated against defined business requirements.

- The job holder will prepare and execute test scenarios, identify and track defects, support defect resolution, and assist with business sign-off prior to production release.

Job Content Functional Testing & Business Acceptance Testing

- Timely preparation and execution of test scenarios, test cases, and business acceptance testing activities.
- Validation of application changes against business requirements and expected outcomes.

Requirement Understanding
- Ability to understand business requirements, functional specifications, user journeys, and digital banking workflows.
- Robust coverage of functional test scenarios aligned to business usage.

Defect Identification & Tracking
- Accurate logging, prioritization, tracking, retesting, and closure support for defects.




- Clear communication of issue impact, dependency, and resolution status.

Stakeholder Coordination
- Effective coordination with business, product, technology, vendor, QA, and support teams.
- Timely updates on testing progress, risks, dependencies, and sign-off status.

Quality Assurance & Release Support
- Support regression testing, production sanity testing, and post-release validation activities.
- Ensure testing evidence, test results, and sign-off documentation are maintained.

Principal Accountabilities

- Perform functional testing for corporate banking applications, including digital online banking platforms.
- Support business acceptance testing by reviewing requirements, preparing test scenarios, executing test cases, and validating outputs.
- Understand functional specifications, user journeys, and business workflows for corporate or retail digital banking applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects through to closure in coordination with technology and vendor teams.
- Work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, vendors, and support teams to ensure test coverage and timely resolution of issues.
- Validate fixes, enhancements, and new functionalities before business sign-off.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, test evidence, defect trackers, and status updates. Highlight risks, dependencies, and issues impacting testing timelines or release quality.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Finance, Business Administration, Banking, or related discipline.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Analysis, Functional Testing, or Business Acceptance Testing.

Industry / Domain

Banking or financial services experience with knowledge of digital online banking applications. Corporate banking domain preferred; retail digital banking experience is acceptable.

Functional Skills

Functional testing, test case preparation, test execution, defect tracking, business validation, regression testing, and production sanity support.

Technical Knowledge

Familiarity with banking applications, transaction workflows, digital channels, and system integration concepts.

Documentation Skills

Ability to prepare clear test scenarios, test evidence, issue logs, status reports, and sign-off documentation.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate with business, product, technology, vendor, and QA stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

- Prior experience in corporate digital banking applications or online banking platforms.
- Exposure to payments, account services, customer onboarding, user access, transaction workflows, or channel servicing journeys.
- Experience working with Agile delivery teams, vendors, technology squads, or test management and defect tracking tools.
