Role Description The Branch Head role at Sugmya Finance is a full-time, on-site position based in Patna.

The Branch

Head is responsible for overseeing branch operations, managing the lending portfolio, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role includes leading and mentoring branch staff, setting targets, monitoring performance, and driving business growth in the region.

Head will manage customer relationships, support MSME clients in semi-urban and Tier-3 markets,



and ensure high-quality credit underwriting and collection practices. The role also involves coordinating with regional and head office teams, preparing regular reports, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong branch management and operations skills, including team leadership, workflow oversight, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess credit assessment and risk management skills, with experience in lending to MSME or retail segments and maintaining portfolio quality.
- Candidates should possess customer relationship and business development skills, including the ability to engage local entrepreneurs and grow the branch’s client base.
- Candidates should possess financial analysis and reporting skills, with proficiency in using digital tools and basic office software for data tracking and documentation.
- Candidates should possess communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in NBFCs, banks, or financial services, particularly in branch or territory management, is highly beneficial.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with cashless processes, digital banking tools, and local market dynamics in Patna and nearby regions will be an advantage.
