As an Automation, API and Integration Testing - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving quality engineering within our Technology Consulting practice. You will focus on implementing leading standards in software development and testing processes, using your technical experience to identify and resolve defects, optimize performance, and enhance user experience. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and navigate complex situations to grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills.

You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward is unclear.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will leverage your skills in software and product innovation to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, while upholding professional and technical standards.



Your work will fit into the overall strategy of our Digital Integration & Architecture go-to-market approach, providing insights and recommendations that inform business decisions.

Responsibilities

- Conducting functional, compatibility, and systems integration testing to identify and resolve defects
- Utilizing Selenium and other tools for browser automation and quality assurance testing
- Designing and managing test cases and protocols to optimize software performance and user experience
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality and drive product innovation
- Implementing quality assurance methodologies to improve testing processes and outcomes
- Analyzing data to inform insights and recommendations for process improvements
- Managing post go-live support and release management quality assurance activities
- Building meaningful client connections and anticipating the needs of teams and clients
- Navigating complex situations to deliver quality solutions and grow personal skills
- Upholding professional and technical standards in software quality assurance practices

What You Must Have




- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics
- Demonstrating proficiency in Quality Assurance Testing and Process Management
- Utilizing Selenium for browser automation and software testing
- Excelling in Systems Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Developing insights through analytical thinking and data interpretation
- Embracing change and demonstrating learning agility in complex environments
- Building meaningful client connections and managing client expectations

Prior hands-on experience validating software application is a must End-to-end scenario validation (inbound/outbound flows, receipts, timeouts, second-round routing/rollover)

Negative and manual-intervention paths (approval/repair/reconciliation, compliance timeouts, accounting retries/compensations)

Performance/SLA testing for instant payments; multi-scheme regression coverage

Robust understanding of API testing tools with a strong preference for Cucumber

Experience using SOAP UI/SmartBear or Postman

Experience testing MQ (Message Queues)

Detail oriented with strong communication skill to work with BAs, architects and developers

Experience working with defect tracking tools with preference given to Jira
