The firm also supports NGOs and non-profit organizations with registration and regular income tax compliance, giving team members exposure to diverse sectors and regulatory frameworks.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, focused on Australia accounting and bookkeeping for clients. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing bank reconciliations in line with Australian accounting standards.
The team member will assist in preparing financial statements, supporting tax and compliance filings, and coordinating with senior accountants on client deliverables. The role also includes communicating with clients to clarify data, ensuring timely submission of documents,
and contributing to process improvements for better accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting and bookkeeping, with familiarity or willingness to learn Australian accounting standards and tax rules.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel for data management and financial reporting.
- Ability to maintain accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, and support preparation of financial statements and compliance documents.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the capacity to work with numerical data consistently.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction with clients and internal team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or holding professional qualifications (CA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Understanding of GST, income tax, and international taxation concepts is beneficial; exposure to IFRS (IndAS) is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, manage deadlines, and collaborate in a structured, process-driven workplace.
