We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Accountant to join our team, specializing in UK Year-End financial reporting and Personal Tax compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations to manage the end-to-end preparation of statutory accounts and self-assessment tax returns.

Role & responsibilities

- Finalization of accounts for UK based companies includes preparation of Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Annual accounts statement, notes and reports to client as per accounting guidelines.
- Coordinate the timely submission of statutory accounts to Companies House and Corporation Tax returns (CT600) to HMRC.
- Manage end-to-end Personal Tax process, including the preparation and submission of UK Self-Assessment (SA100) tax returns for individuals and partners.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts like Fixed Asset, Bank, VAT, PAYE/NIC, Loans, Inter company etc and prepare supporting working papers.
- Variance analysis of P & L items and reporting on the same
- Identify and report tax-saving opportunities for clients while ensuring full compliance with current UK tax legislation.
- Utilize accounting software (Tax Calc, IRIS,



CCH, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) to maintain accurate financial records and streamline reporting.
- Maintaining client relationship & ensuring client expectations are meet.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate, Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/CA Inter)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a UK-based accounting role or 4-6 years experience in Indian Audit firm/Industry
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with UK Year-End finalization, Personal Tax return, Bookkeeping, monthly MIS and VAT.
- Strong understanding of FRS, UK GAAP, HMRC regulations, and Companies House requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software (Tax Calc, IRIS, CCH, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills and robust analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills via Emails or Phone/Video call.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
