Role Description The Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position located at Metro Hospital Cancer Institute in Preet Vihar. The Assistant will support daily hospital operations by coordinating patient appointments, managing records, and assisting with front desk and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include greeting and directing patients and visitors, handling phone calls and inquiries, preparing and updating files, and supporting medical and nursing staff with routine non-clinical tasks. The role may also involve data entry, basic documentation, coordination with other departments,



and ensuring that patient areas remain organized and welcoming. The Assistant is expected to maintain confidentiality, follow hospital policies, and contribute to a respectful and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Basic computer proficiency, including use of office software and hospital information systems.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a busy clinical setting.
- Understanding of patient confidentiality, privacy standards, and basic hospital protocols.
- Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or customer service workplace is preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in healthcare administration or related fields is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Preet Vihar and collaborate in a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
