Job Summary

Movate is seeking a highly skilled GenAI Migration Engineer to design and develop AI-powered modernization solutions for enterprise data transformation and legacy system migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will build and enhance GenAI-driven pipelines that automate the conversion of legacy SQL code, stored procedures, data models, and warehouse constructs into modern cloud-native architectures using Snowflake and dbt.

This role requires strong expertise in Python development, LLM integration, Prompt Engineering, Snowflake, dbt, and AI-assisted automation frameworks. The candidate will work closely with Data Architects, Data Modellers, and Data Engineering teams to improve conversion accuracy, automate validation, and accelerate cloud migration programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain GenAI-powered code modernization and migration pipelines.
- Build AI-driven solutions to automate conversion of legacy SQL, ETL, stored procedures, and data warehouse objects into Snowflake-compatible implementations.
- Develop Python-based orchestration frameworks for LLM integrations and automated migration workflows.
- Collaborate with Data Architects and Data Modellers to understand source systems and target-state architectures.
- Design and optimize prompts for code conversion, SQL transformation, and migration use cases.
- Automate validation and quality assurance of AI-generated outputs.
- Implement confidence scoring mechanisms and human-in-the-loop review processes.
- Build scalable migration frameworks for enterprise data modernization programs.
