Role & responsibilities

- Design and develop Android applications, SDKs, and services optimized for automotive Head Units.
- Convert voice assistant workflows into interactive Android UIs and services in collaboration with Product and Design teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable Kotlin/Java code following OOP and architectural best practices.
- Implement efficient asynchronous processing and background tasks using Android concurrency mechanisms.
- Develop communication layers between the Android application, voice engines, and cloud APIs.
- Own features end-to-end,



from design and development through testing and deployment.
- Test and debug applications across different driving modes, screen states, and device configurations.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding and quality standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- 45 years of Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin (must-have) and Java
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, app lifecycle, and UI design
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON
- Experience with MVVM / Clean Architecture; hands-on with Jetpack libraries / Jetpack Compose
