ABOUT THE TEAM The Loan Data Extraction Team supports institutional real estate clients by reviewing and extracting information from real estate source documents, including loan agreements, promissory notes, and guarantees. The team standardizes complete, accurate, and timely data used to model debt portfolios and helps clients manage and analyze commercial real estate information efficiently.

ROLE OVERVIEW The Analyst – Loan Data Extraction reviews and extracts data from commercial real estate loan documents as a key step in modeling client debt portfolios. The role requires careful interpretation of loan terms, strong analytical judgment, and exceptional attention to detail to identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information. Working with internal team members and stakeholders, the Analyst helps deliver accurate, timely data and builds the skills needed for extraction and quality assurance through structured internal training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Document Review & Data Extraction

- Review and extract information from real estate source documents, including loan agreements, promissory notes, guarantees, and term sheets.

- Identify and interpret relevant loan terms, including interest rates, borrower details, covenants, extension provisions, and prepayment features.

- Extract and standardize data used to model loan cash flows, extension details, prepayment optionality, and related debt portfolio information.

- Apply knowledge of loan documents to distinguish relevant terms and accurately capture information from complex financial documents.

- Enter extracted data efficiently and accurately to support smooth downstream processing and analysis.

Data Quality & Analysis

- Ensure extracted data is complete, accurate, and timely,



and investigate discrepancies or errors before work is finalized.

- Apply critical thinking and pattern recognition to identify inconsistencies, missing information, and potential red flags in source documents.

- Perform quality checks on extracted and standardized data to maintain a high level of precision across loan terms and related fields.

- Use attention to detail to minimize errors in interest rates, borrower information, covenants, and other critical loan data.

- Support internal teams in testing new products while maintaining the highest standards of data quality.

Collaboration & Professional Development

- Collaborate with internal team members and other stakeholders to complete projects and deliverables on time and to the satisfaction of clients.

- Communicate complex ideas and information related to data extraction and quality assurance clearly through verbal and written communication.

- Complete internal training modules and apply acquired skills and knowledge to perform extraction responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

Required

- Post Graduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- 1-3 years of experience in financial document processing, credit analysis, loan operations, or a similar field

- Background in real estate investment, data management, or a related discipline





- Exceptional attention to detail and precision when extracting loan terms, interest rates, borrower details, covenants, and related information

- Working familiarity with loan documents such as credit agreements, promissory notes, guarantees, and term sheets

- Ability to review, interpret, and extract data from real estate source documents and identify relevant information accurately

- Strong data-entry speed and accuracy, with the ability to maintain quality for downstream processing and analysis

- Strong critical thinking and pattern-recognition skills, including the ability to identify inconsistencies, missing information, and potential red flags

- Effective verbal and written communication skills for working with internal team members and other stakeholders

Preferred

- Experience working with institutional real estate data or clients
