We are looking for an experienced and passionate AI/ML professional to join us as a Part-Time Mentor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding aspiring AI and Machine Learning professionals through practical, industry-oriented learning and helping them develop the technical skills required to build successful careers in AI/ML and related fields.

As an AI/ML Mentor at SkillsUplift, you will mentor and guide learners through Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, data preprocessing, model development, evaluation, and real-world AI/ML projects. You will help students understand practical AI/ML workflows and prepare them for entry-level AI/ML and Data Science roles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Conduct live online mentoring and training sessions.
- Teach AI and Machine Learning fundamentals.
- Conduct hands-on AI/ML labs and practical projects.
- Teach Python programming for AI/ML.
- Guide learners through data preprocessing and feature engineering.
- Teach supervised and unsupervised learning concepts.
- Guide students through model development, training, and evaluation.
- Explain common Machine Learning algorithms and their practical applications.
- Introduce learners to Deep Learning concepts where applicable.
- Guide students through real-world AI/ML projects.
- Teach model evaluation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Introduce learners to modern AI, Generative AI, and LLM concepts where relevant.




- Help learners develop practical problem-solving skills.
- Provide career guidance and interview preparation.
- Share practical industry knowledge and real-world AI/ML experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3–5 years of qualified experience in AI/ML, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and Machine Learning.
- Practical experience building and evaluating ML models.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and workflows.
- Ability to explain complex AI/ML concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping learners grow.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or technical training.
- Experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or AI application development.
- Experience deploying ML models or AI applications.
- Experience preparing candidates for technical interviews or AI/ML certifications.
