About the Role

Premier Group is looking for an experienced Real Estate & Land Legal Advocate to independently handle end-to-end legal matters related to land/property purchase, acquisition, sale, development, due diligence, documentation, registration, and compliance across Maharashtra .

We are looking for a hands-on professional with strong practical knowledge of Maharashtra land and property laws , including the ability to trace and verify the complete historical ownership and transaction records of land, particularly agricultural and other complex properties .

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end legal work for purchase/acquisition and sale/transfer of land and properties .
- Conduct detailed title search, ownership verification and historical land due diligence .
- Verify revenue, registration, mutation and other relevant land/property records.
- Conduct both online and physical/offline searches and verification of government records.
- Review and draft Sale Deeds, Agreements to Sell, MoUs, Development Agreements, POAs, legal notices and other property documents.
- Identify title defects, encumbrances, disputes, restrictions and other legal risks.
- Handle agricultural, NA and other land-related legal matters.
- Coordinate property registration, documentation and statutory approvals.




- Liaise effectively with Sub-Registrar Offices, Revenue Department, Collectorate, Municipal Authorities and other government departments .
- Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, landowners, purchasers and other stakeholders.
- Handle property-related litigation, notices and disputes.
- Maintain property-wise legal records, title documents and due diligence reports.
- Provide timely legal opinions and practical recommendations to Management.

Must-Have Experience

- Strong hands-on experience in Maharashtra real estate and land transactions .
- Practical experience in both purchasing/acquisition and selling/transfer of properties .
- Strong experience in title verification and tracing historical ownership/transaction records .
- Experience handling agricultural land and complex property transactions .
- Experience with both online government portals and physical/offline record searches .
- Strong liaison, follow-up and information-gathering skills .
- Ability to independently obtain required records, conduct verification and resolve documentation issues without unnecessary delays .
- Experience handling high-value or institutional/corporate real estate transactions will be an advantage.
