Reporting To: Medical Superintendent / General Manager

A reputed multi-speciality hospital in Ankleshwar is looking for an experienced Accounts Head to lead the Accounts & Finance function and oversee financial operations, hospital revenue management, statutory compliance, audits and financial controls.

The ideal candidate should have robust experience in hospital accounting and finance, with a good understanding of OPD, IPD, pharmacy, diagnostics, OT, ICU and insurance/TPA revenue processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivables, general ledger, cash and bank transactions.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing.
- Prepare MIS, P&L; statements, balance sheets, cash-flow statements and management reports.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability and overall financial performance.
- Ensure proper accounting of OPD, IPD, pharmacy, diagnostics, OT, ICU and insurance/TPA revenues.
- Supervise hospital billing and revenue-cycle processes.
- Monitor outstanding patient, corporate, insurance and TPA receivables.
- Ensure timely submission and settlement of insurance/TPA claims.
- Identify revenue leakages, billing discrepancies, refunds and credit adjustments.




- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities and monitor performance against budgets.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
- Support cost-control and profitability improvement initiatives.
- Manage working capital and cash-flow requirements.
- Monitor vendor payments, patient collections and insurance collections.

Statutory Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, taxation and statutory requirements.
- Oversee GST, TDS, income-tax and other applicable statutory filings.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants and internal auditors.
- Ensure timely completion of audits and resolution of audit observations.
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls and approval processes.
- Review financial transactions for accuracy, authorisation and compliance.

Team Management & Hospital Finance
- Lead and supervise the Accounts & Finance team.
- Define responsibilities, targets and performance standards.
- Train team members and improve accounting processes.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores teams on financial controls.
- Oversee payroll accounting and related statutory deductions.
- Coordinate with HR for payroll reconciliations and employee advances/settlements.

Doctor Incentive Management




- Calculate doctor incentives based on approved agreements, revenue, OPD/IPD, procedures, surgeries and applicable performance parameters.
- Reconcile doctor-wise billing, collections, discounts, refunds and revenue data.
- Prepare doctor-wise incentive statements and ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Maintain incentive MIS and identify errors or revenue leakages.

Eligibility & Skills
- Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Accounting or a relevant discipline.
- Relevant experience in the hospital/healthcare industry is required.
- Strong knowledge of hospital accounting and financial processes.
- Good understanding of billing, revenue cycle and insurance/TPA processes.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation and statutory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel/MIS reporting will be an advantage.

Salary ₹85,000 – ₹90,000 CTC per month

Salary will be based on the candidate's relevant hospital experience, qualifications and overall suitability for the role.
