Role Description

We're looking for a researcher to track how university curricula are evolving and turn that intelligence into standardized research packs. This is a contract, per-assignment role, and you'll be paid per completed piece, not on a fixed salary, so it suits someone who wants project-based flexibility over a traditional job.

Your core responsibilities will be to:

1. Research current curricula, course outlines, and assignment briefs across universities and disciplines to identify recurring structures, requirements, and gaps in existing academic support material.
2. Monitor the broader academic research and ed-tech support market on an ongoing basis, such as what formats, subjects, and delivery models are gaining traction, and where INSIGHT Academia's offerings should adapt.
3. Convert research findings into standardized, reusable packs: templates, guides,



and worked examples aligned to real coursework demands.
4. Use AI tools as part of the research and drafting workflow to accelerate synthesis, while maintaining accuracy, originality, and methodological rigor in every deliverable.
5. Deliver completed work per assignment, against agreed turnaround times, with minimal need for follow-up revisions.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Strong research and analytical skills are a must; you should be able to read and interpret academic texts, course structures, and assignment briefs, and extract patterns from them.
2. Demonstrated comfort using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) as part of a research and writing workflow, please note that this is NOT optional for this role.
3. Solid written English and command of Word/document tools; comfort building and following structured templates.
4. Prior experience in academic writing, tutoring, curriculum design, instructional content development, or academic research support is strongly preferred as this is a role where direct field experience matters more than a specific degree.
5. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
6. Able to work independently against per-assignment deadlines without close supervision.

Compensation To be confirmed, but usually between INR 5,000 - INR 20,000/- per assessment report, as per scope.
