Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of sourcers for container vessels, bulk carriers, and car carriers in the Engine Department.
- Plan all ranks of Engine Department officers.
- Coordinate with officers, offer them attractive offers, and encourage them to join the company's vessels.
- Coordinate with branch offices across India for sourcing engineers based on requirements.
- Correspond with the Cyprus office to obtain approval for engineers.
- Liaise with manning agents in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Ukraine for sourcing engineers.
- Ensure that officers and crew are trained according to the company's policies and maintain valid certificates for all personnel.
- Ensure staff placement on board complies with the safe manning certificate requirements of the vessel.




- Maintain a database of engineers.

Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have:
- Proven experience in managing teams in the Engine Department for container vessels, bulk carriers, and car carriers.
- Robust coordination skills to collaborate with officers, branch offices, and international manning agents.
- Knowledge of the recruiting process and ability to source engineers as per requirements.
- Familiarity with correspondence protocols with the Cyprus office for engineer approvals.
- Understanding of training and certification requirements for officers and crew on vessels.
