Key Responsibilities:-
- Machine Operation: Operate a battery of looms to weave yarn or thread into textile fabrics, ensuring maximum output.
- Setup and Adjustment: Set up looms according to product specifications, which includes installing warp beams, threading yarns, adjusting tension, and aligning components to prevent production issues.
- Monitoring and Quality Control: Patrol the machines and constantly monitor the weaving process to detect any irregularities such as broken threads, pattern misalignments, or defects in the fabric.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Investigate machine stoppages and perform minor mechanical repairs, such as mending broken ends and picks or replacing minor parts. Notify supervisors or senior technicians of major malfunctions.
