Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily workshop operations, job card flow and technician allocation
Ensure timely and quality repair and maintenance of all vehicles brought in for service
Manage spare parts inventory in coordination with the parts department to avoid delays
Handle warranty claims, documentation and coordination with Ashok Leyland for approvals
Monitor workshop productivity, turnaround time and customer satisfaction scores
Train and mentor technicians on the latest service procedures and safety standards
Resolve customer complaints related to service quality in a timely and professional manner
Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness and adherence to manufacturer service standards

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering preferred




4 to 7 years of experience in commercial vehicle workshop or service operations
Strong technical knowledge of Ashok Leyland vehicles and repair processes
Proven experience in managing a team of technicians and workshop staff
Good problem-solving skills and a customer-first approach
Strong sense of ownership, integrity and accountability towards assigned responsibilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Positive time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
