We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our Engineering IT organization. In this role, you will play a key part in evolving Arm’s Kubernetes platform and Hybrid Cloud infrastructure services, enhancing the developer and engineering user experience while ensuring the platform remains secure, reliable, and scalable across both public cloud and on-premises environments.
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for running Arm's Kubernetes platform services across public and private cloud environments. You will develop and implement platform capabilities, automation, and operational tooling that improve the reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability of the platform. Working across the full platform lifecycle, you will support cluster provisioning, upgrades, maintenance, observability, and workload enablement, ensuring Arm's engineering teams can efficiently deploy and own a diverse range of applications and compute-intensive workloads.
Responsibilities
Build,
develop, and maintain Arm’s Kubernetes platform management/control pane services and workload cluster services.
Develop and improve automation, self-service capabilities, and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for cluster provisioning and lifecycle management.
Operate Kubernetes clusters across public cloud and private cloud environments, including upgrades, patching, maintenance, and operational support.
Improve platform reliability, scalability, observability, and security through engineering standards and automation.
Support diverse workload requirements and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance platform capabilities and developer productivity.
Solve complex platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements.
Contribute to platform architecture, technical roadmaps, and engineering standards.
