Purpose - Why does this role exist

Responsible for developing OE business for assigned geography by specifying key criteria required in products to meet customer demands. Proficient in sales process and achieve sales objectives (ABP) sales & revenue targets for the products, efficient in sales planning & execution as per plan.

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)
- Identify high potential projects and customers in zone and specify exact product demands required
- Share any current use cases seen in market applicable for Coated product line
- Streamline and improve existing sales to maintain JSW share-of-business
- Development of new customers and business to improve SOB
- Achieve sales targets as per Monthly and Annual Business Plan
- Market assessment & Competition mapping
- Coordination with Plant and stock-yard to ensure timely delivery
- Plan and manage optimum material stock at local stock-yard
- Handle quality complaints along with technical team and timely resolution of the issues.




- Develop cordial relationship with customers and other agencies involved in business.
- Production Planning and Coordination with plant at HO

Critical Tasks

MANDATORY- KRA's and Key Activities
- Specifying product requirements to onboarding new customers
- Meeting monthly and annual sales targets generated by HO team
- Managing existing customers for industry segment via customer visits, order management, complaint resolution etc
- Working with CAMs and other sales team members to meet customer requirements

Decision making authority (Decisions expected)
- Identification of which products would meet client criteria
- Sharing of leads and specification information required with CAMs

Educational Background and Work Experience
- B.E./ B.Tech or science graduates with M.B.A (preferred)
- 3-6 years of work experience in steel industry
- Familiarity with building material customers/infrastructure sector
- Experience working wit
