Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Reporter role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Reporter will research and gather information on education, careers, and industry trends, and convert this information into clear, engaging news stories and reports. Daily tasks include conducting interviews with students, educators, and industry professionals; attending events or sessions related to Skill Vertex programs; and verifying facts to ensure accuracy and credibility. The role involves writing articles, news updates, and feature pieces, as well as collaborating with multimedia and editorial teams to produce content for various platforms. The Reporter is expected to meet deadlines, maintain ethical reporting standards, and contribute ideas for ongoing content coverage.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills for creating accurate, timely, and engaging stories.




Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills to conduct interviews and produce clear, structured content.
Candidates should possess Multimedia skills to work with visual, audio, or digital formats as needed for different platforms.
Candidates should demonstrate strong research, critical thinking, and fact-checking abilities.
Relevant experience in journalism, media, or content creation is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work in office in the Greater Kolkata Area and manage multiple assignments under deadlines.
Awareness of education and career development trends, and interest in the edtech sector, is an advantage.
