Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Control-M Engineer with hands-on experience in job scheduling, batch monitoring, and production support. The ideal candidate should have experience working with Control-M scheduling tools, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring smooth execution of batch processes in a 24x7 support environment.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and manage batch jobs using Control-M to ensure successful and timely execution.
Perform job scheduling activities including rerun, hold, free, and dependency management.
Troubleshoot job failures, scheduling conflicts, and batch processing issues.
Provide L2 production support and ensure adherence to defined SLAs.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.
Coordinate with application, database, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
Participate in deployment activities and batch validation processes.
Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Manage incidents,



problems, and change requests using ServiceNow/JIRA.
Support operational excellence and continuous process improvements.

Mandatory Skills
Hands-on experience with Control-M Job Scheduling
Strong understanding of:

Job Execution & Failure Handling
Batch Processing
Experience in Production Support / Application Support environments
Valuable knowledge of Unix/Linux
Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting
Understanding of ITIL processes
Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Skills
Experience in Control-M Job Creation
Exposure to Control-M modules such as AFT, MFT, or SAP
Basic Shell Scripting knowledge
Experience in Banking/BFSI domain
Knowledge of scheduling dependencies and workflow management
