Roles and Responsibilities
The Senior network engineer acts as an expert in network Planning, Design, Implementation and Support across delivery lifecycle for projects.
- Should be Certified in relevant Technologies (CCNP(R&S;), CCNP(Security))
- Should have necessary knowledge and skills on Switching, Routing, Firewall, Wireless, Data Center Network (Unified), Storage Network, SDN
- Experienced in network administration, designing, planning, implementation, installation, configuration, maintenance, security policies and troubleshooting
- Expertise in Switching, Routing, Wireless and Firewalls is key
- Experienced in Cisco SD Access design, implementation and troubleshooting
- Well versed and Experienced in Zero Trust network principle, micro-segmentations etc.
- Well versed/Experienced in Zscaler Private Access and Zscaler Internet Access Concepts
- Well versed/Experienced in Cloud networking concepts specially for Azure
- Hands-on experienced in troubleshooting on Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms, Cisco Firepower Series Firewalls, Aruba (Wireless AP and Controllers),



Juniper Firewalls, Cyberoam Firewalls, Cisco unified computing platforms, Dell unified switches, Virtualization platform related network, VMware NSX
- Positive communication skills and customer-oriented approach.
- Well versed with ITIL V3/V4 approach. (Incident, Service Request and Change Management processes)

Technical skills
- Switching protocol : VLAN, VTP, STP, FHRP,LACP,VDC,VPC, Fabric Path
- Routing protocols : BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP V1/V2, ISIS
- Campus Switches : Cisco Catalyst 2300/2900/3500/3700/4500/6500 series.
- Data Center Switches : Cisco Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, 2K series, Dell unified switches like S5000, S4148
- Storage Director : Cisco MDS 9148, 9396S
- Security : VPN,IPSEC, GRE,DMVPN, AAA, DOT1Q, 802.1x, Cisco ISE, VXLAN, EVPN
- Security Platforms : Cisco Firepower Series firewalls, Cisco ASA, Juniper (SSG and SRX series), FortiGate and Cyberoam firewalls, Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler Cloud an
