Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) has an opening for a Associate Engineer - Mechanical in the Aerospace Business. This position will be based in Pune, India.
The primary responsibility of this role is to drive the product design and development for Aerospace new / existing products to meet product requirements including safety, reliability, and conformance to standards.
• Perform concept design, detailed design engineering using CAD platforms such as Creo 7.0 / Solidworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam etc.
• Design current products, modify existing designs, design calculations, GD&T; & Tolerance stake up analysis, DFMEA, DFMA (Design for manufacturability & assembly),
Risk Management & DVPR improve production techniques, and develop test procedures.
• Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
• Interact with global cross functional teams.
• Understanding of Aerospace standards such as MIL-P-8564D, NASA-STD-6016, DO-178, DO-254,MIL-STD-810, SAE ARP 4754/4761 etc"
"The candidate in this position will be responsible for:
• Mechanical product design and development, prepare technical design details & drawings in compliance to drawing standards as per Aerospace standards and prevailing engineering practices.
• Learn and deploy DFSS concepts / tools such as PDSC, P-Diagram, DFMEA, Risk Management & DVPR for new product development &/or existing product improvements
• Concept design, creation of 3D models and drawings of the new product designs and modification of exis
