Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
- Effective inventory and material management includes the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of construction materials, tools, and equipment. Maintaining optimal inventory levels is vital for uninterrupted project execution, necessitating stock movement monitoring, timely replenishment, and periodic audits. Identifying slow-moving and surplus inventory is also critical for proposing corrective actions.
- Store operations involve supervising daily activities at project sites, ensuring materials are stacked, preserved, and stored properly, and implementing effective handling procedures to minimize damage and waste.
- Accurate record-keeping is essential for Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips (MIS), Delivery Challans, Gate Passes, and Stock Registers. Inventory transactions should be updated promptly in ERP/software systems, with daily, weekly,



and monthly inventory reports prepared for management review. Proper documentation must also be maintained for audits and compliance.
- Coordination with procurement, project, engineering, and accounts departments is essential for effective material planning and utilization. Monitoring material consumption in relation to project requirements and budgets, assisting procurement teams in forecasting material needs, and verifying received materials against purchase orders are key responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in inventory management, warehouse management, or ERP systems will be an advantage.
