About the role
Act as the technical escalation point and infrastructure SME responsible for architecture design, OS upgrades, migrations, automation, and strategic capacity planning.

As an Engineer III you will:
- Design & implement enterprise VMware clusters, HA/DR architectures




- Lead vCenter & ESXi version upgrades and lifecycle management
- Plan and execute guest OS upgrades (Windows/Linux) ensuring compatibility
- Lead large-scale migrations (P2V, V2V, DC migrations, cross-vCenter)
- Define rollback strategies & downtime planning for migrations
- Architect vSAN & storage performance optimization strategies
- Implement automation using PowerCLI & orchestration tools
- Conduct capacity planning & forecast infrastructure growth
- Provide mentorship & technical governance Provide L3 support for critical incidents and major outages
