Job Description: QA Tester & Application Support Engineer
Job Summary

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance
- Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and system documentation.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Validate recent features, enhancements, bug fixes, and integrations.
- Perform regression, smoke, sanity, integration, functional, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
- Verify fixes and ensure defects are resolved before release.
- Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure production stability.
- Ensure software meets quality standards and business requirements.
Application Support
- Investigate production issues and coordinate timely resolution.
- Handle user queries, incidents, and service requests.
- Support deployment validation and production readiness activities.




- Coordinate with development, DevOps, and business teams during incident resolution.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues and recurring defects.
- Document findings and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
- Participate in post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Incident & Defect Management
- Log, prioritize, assign, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Maintain complete visibility of issue status from identification through closure.
- Drive issue ownership and accountability until successful resolution.
- Follow SLA and severity-based prioritization.
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely bug fixes.
- Validate fixes before closing incidents.
User Training & Knowledge Management
- Create user guides, FAQs, troubleshooting documents, and knowledge base articles.
