JAC Interior Store is a premium destination for furniture and interior products. We are looking for an Architect / Interior Designer with solid sales and business orientation to head our showroom.
This is not a conventional design-only role. The person will combine design expertise, customer consultation, team leadership and sales management to create an outstanding showroom experience and drive business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer & Design
Welcome and understand customer requirements and lifestyle needs.
Provide professional design and space-planning advice.
Help customers select and coordinate furniture, doors, wardrobes, flooring and other interior products.
Prepare layouts, concepts and product presentations where required.
Develop complete solutions rather than selling individual products.
Build strong relationships with high-value customers.
Sales & Business Development
Take ownership of showroom sales and monthly targets.
Drive customer conversion,
average bill value and profitability.
Lead the team in consultative and design-based selling.
Follow up on enquiries and ensure timely closure of sales.
Develop opportunities with architects, interior designers, builders and other professionals.
Build a strong database of prospective customers and ensure systematic follow-up.
Monitor daily sales performance and take corrective action where required.
Team Leadership
Lead, train and motivate the showroom sales team.
Set daily and monthly objectives for team members.
Coach the team on product knowledge, customer handling, design presentation and closing techniques.
Ensure disciplined CRM and enquiry follow-up.
Conduct regular reviews of sales performance.
Showroom Management
Ensure the showroom is maintained to premium standards at all times.
Maintain attractive product displays and visual merchandising.
