Skills Required:
Write clean and reusable codes using ETL / Python programming language or Shell Scripting that can be easily maintained

With regards to ETL, learn to extract source data and use ETL concepts to process and massage the data and finally load data into Oracle database.

Write proper Unit test cases and execute the cases to produce Unit test results which is easily understandable.

Maintain Proper documentation of all the design related discussions, test cases/ executions/results.

Should be able to debug the codes/programs written using ETL (BI Informatica workflows), Shell scripts, Python scripts, Oracle Stored procedures.

Should have the capability to write extensive logging mechanisms so that during debugging its easy to identify the root cause of issues.
