Join us as a Network Security Governance Lead at Barclays where you will spearhead to provide a primary liaison service between the business, technology, and security functions. To ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, and support the mitigation of security risk.
To be successful as a Network Security Governance Lead, you should have experience with:
- Strong understanding of Information and Cyber Security policies, standards, and control frameworks.
- Positive knowledge of governance, risk management, compliance monitoring, and assurance processes.
- Experience in tracking and reporting KPIs, KCIs, KRIs, audit findings, remediation actions, and control monitoring activities.
- Practical knowledge or hands-on experience with network security products, technologies, and related controls.
- Understanding of security audits, control assessments, security standards, frameworks,
incident management, and threat awareness.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and support remediation, reporting, and governance activities
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Professional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant network/security certifications.
- Hands-on experience in governance, audit, security standards, control frameworks, and network security environments.
- Exposure to cybersecurity incident response, threat monitoring, and emerging security risks.
- Ability to support awareness content, training sessions, and stakeholder communication on cyber risk and security controls.
