To be a successful Product Owner you should have experience with:
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to articulate vision and value clearly.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, prioritization, and problem‑solving.
- Technical understanding of systems, dependencies, architecture constraints, and end‑to‑end flows.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Customer‑first approach with ability to translate insights into impactful product improvements.
- Ability to influence, collaborate,
and drive alignment across business, technology, and control functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 16-20 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Hands‑on experience with product management tools (Jira, Trello, ADO).
Additional relevant skills given below are highly valued:
- Strong hands-on automation expertise: Selenium, TestNG, Hybrid/BDD Frameworks, Java
- Experience in test strategy, estimation, planning, execution governance, and large-scale program delivery
- Robust knowledge of API Testing (Postman/REST Assured) and database testing using SQL
- Proficiency in Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines (GIT, Jenkins/GitLab), and DevOps practices
- Expertise in test management and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Strong defect management, root cause analysis, and risk management skills
