Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the preparation and submission of various tax returns, including corporate income tax, GST, and other statutory filings in compliance with local and national regulations.
- Conduct thorough analysis of tax regulations and assess their impacts on the company’s operations, providing timely updates and recommendations to management.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales teams and finance to ensure accurate tax treatment of transactions and efficient tax planning aligned with business goals.
- Coordinate and liaise with external tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits, investigations, and assessments as needed.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of robust tax policies and procedures to ensure risk mitigation and adherence to legal requirements.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of tax computations, assessments,



and correspondence to enable transparency and facilitate future audits.
- Engage in continuous professional development to remain current on tax law changes, industry best practices, and technology advancements that impact taxation.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations related to tax compliance and strategic tax initiatives for senior leadership.
- Manage travel and communication effectively within the up to 25% travel requirement, ensuring on-site visits to relevant stakeholders and regulatory entities when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field is required; professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in direct tax and indirect tax functions, preferably within a corporate environment.
