Civil Engineer - Data Center Construction Project

Lead civil engineering activities for data center construction including site development, earthworks, grading, drainage systems, utilities infrastructure, and foundations. Review and interpret civil design drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports to ensure constructability and compliance with project requirements and local regulations.

Oversee site preparation, excavation, and foundation works including deep foundations, mat slabs, and structural support systems designed to meet stringent data center load requirements and vibration criteria. Coordinate with structural engineers to ensure proper foundation design execution and quality control during concrete placement.

Manage civil construction activities including roadways, parking areas, site utilities (water supply, sanitary, storm drainage), underground electrical and communications duct banks, and site grading for proper surface water management.



Ensure all civil works support critical facility requirements for access, safety, and infrastructure resilience.

Monitor and inspect civil construction quality including soil compaction testing, concrete testing (slump, strength, air content), reinforcement placement verification, and drainage system installations. Review material certifications, test reports, and ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.

Coordinate with utility providers, local authorities, and permitting agencies for site connections, right-of-way approvals, environmental compliance, and inspection requirements. Manage civil-related submittals, RFIs, and change order documentation throughout construction phases.

Conduct regular site walks to verify civil work progress against schedules, identify potential issues, and ensure contractor adherence to approved plans and safety protocols. Resolve field conflicts between civil works and other construction activit
