Description:
- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Gujarat Factory Rules, PESO, DISH, Fire & Safety regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements. Implement and sustain EHS management systems (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001). Conduct regular plant safety inspections and audits. Ensure effective implementation of Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, Work at Height, Confined Space Entry, Hot Work, and Electrical Safety procedures. Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA/HAZOP). Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses using Root Cause Analysis and ensure CAPA implementation. Monitor contractor safety performance and statutory compliance. Ensure compliance with Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), CPCB, and MoEF guidelines. Monitor ETP, STP, hazardous waste management, solvent emissions, VOC control, and air/water quality. Maintain environmental records and coordinate statutory reporting. Drive waste minimization, resource conservation, and sustainability initiatives.
