- Plan and schedule daily machining activities.:
- Ensure production targets are achieved within deadlines.
- Monitor machine utilization and improve productivity.
- Coordinate with production, planning, and maintenance departments.
- Supervise machine operators, CNC programmers, setters, and technicians.
- Assign work according to employee skills and workload.
- Train and mentor shop-floor personnel.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance.
- Ensure manufactured components meet drawings and specifications.
- Review inspection reports and resolve quality issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Reduce rejection and rework.
