Job Title: Procurement Engineer (Purchase Engineer)

Location: Sakinaka, Mumbai

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Send RFQs (Requests for Quotations) to multiple vendors based on material or service requirements.
- Evaluate vendor quotations and prepare comparative statements (commercial and basic technical).
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per company policies and project requirements.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to clarify specifications and resolve technical queries.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop current vendors to build a reliable and competitive supplier base.
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Follow up with vendors and transporters to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for vendor payment follow-ups and invoice-related matters.




- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company procurement procedures.

Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.s

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical.
- 2-5 years of experience in procurement/purchase, preferably in an engineering, manufacturing, or EPC environment.
