JOB DESCRIPTION : - Sales Application Engineer

Location: Pune

Qualification
- B.E. Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- MBA (Operations) will be an added advantage

Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in the Cutting Tools industry, preferably in Application Engineering.
- Willingness to travel across the assigned sales territory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer machining processes and recommend suitable tooling solutions to improve productivity.
- Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and coordinate with suppliers for effective solutions.
- Develop new business opportunities and acquire new customers.
- Support the sales team in achieving revenue and business growth targets.
- Convert leads generated through various marketing channels into business opportunities.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing customers.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities,



and share insights with management.
- Maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring confidentiality of customer data.
- Ensure proper execution of company sales policies and maintain the company's brand image.

Required Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Customer-focused approach with good presentation and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
