The PWD Incharge is responsible for managing the complete lift licensing process for all current and existing projects across India. The role involves coordinating with clients, project teams, Maharashtra PWD officials, and other state authorities to ensure timely submission, approval, renewal, and compliance of lift licenses.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Project Documentation
- Coordinate with the Sales and Projects Team to obtain details of all confirmed lift projects.
- Collect all required lift license documents from clients for newly confirmed sites.
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of all documents before submission.
- Maintain a checklist for each project and ensure no mandatory document is pending.
2. Maharashtra PWD Portal Submission
- Ensure all forms, drawings, certificates, and supporting documents are correctly uploaded.
3. Coordination with Electrical Inspectors
- Present original documents whenever required.
- Clarify technical or documentation-related queries raised by inspectors.
- Ensure smooth processing of files until inspection permission is granted.
4. B Form & Final License Approval
- Coordinate the submission of B Form after lift installation.
- Arrange inspections with the concerned Electrical Inspector.
- Visit the department for follow-up regarding B Form verification.
- Ensure timely issuance of Lift License after successful inspection.
5. Lift License Renewal (Pan India)
- Maintain a renewal tracker for all installed lifts across India.
- Monitor expiry dates of lift licenses.
- Coordinate with clients for renewal documentation well before the due date.
- Ensure uninterrupted validity of all lift licenses.
6. Follow-up & Government Liaison
- Maintain regular communication with Electrical Inspectors and government officials.
