Job Overview

Baseline is looking for an MEP Design Manager with 5-10 years of experience in industrial and commercial projects. The role focuses on leading multidisciplinary MEP design activities, reviewing engineering deliverables, coordinating with clients and consultants.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Firefighting, and Utility system design activities.
- Review and approve MEP drawings, layouts, engineering calculations, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, BIM teams, clients, and consultants.
- Ensure design deliverables comply with project requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards.
- Manage project schedules, design deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Review BOQs, equipment schedules, load calculations, and engineering documentation.
- Conduct design reviews and resolve technical issues during project development.




- Support value engineering and design optimization initiatives.
- Oversee multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash detection activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to MEP engineers, designers, and BIM modelers.
- Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and design review workshops.
- Coordinate with execution teams to resolve design-related site queries.
- Ensure timely submission of all engineering deliverables.

Qualification & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in MEP design for industrial and commercial projects.
- Experience in engineering consultancy, design consultancy, or EPC design environments will be preferred.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and utility system design.
