Key Responsibilities
- Visit medical stores, wholesalers, distributors, and pharmaceutical vendors to procure medicines and healthcare products as per company requirements.
- Identify and source medicines that are in short supply or difficult to procure.
- Compare prices and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best commercial terms.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with pharmacies, distributors, and suppliers.
- Ensure timely purchase and delivery of medicines to avoid stock shortages.
- Coordinate with the internal operations and inventory teams regarding procurement requirements.
- Verify product details, including batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and packaging conditions before purchase.
- Collect purchase invoices, bills,



and other supporting documents and submit them to the accounts department.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, vendor details, and purchase transactions.
- Monitor market availability and provide updates on pricing trends and alternative sourcing options.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable pharmaceutical regulations during procurement activities.
