Position: Milling Operator
Experience: 0-5 Years
Industry: SPM (Special Purpose Machine) / Industrial Automation
Qualification: ITI Machinist / Fitter / Turner or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities
- Operate conventional or CNC milling machines to manufacture precision machine components.:
- Read and understand engineering drawings, machining layouts, and job cards.:
- Set up workpieces using fixtures, clamps, and vices.:
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for machining operations.:
- Perform milling operations such as facing, slotting, drilling, keyway cutting, and profile milling.:
- Measure finished components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Dial Gauge.:
- Ensure components meet drawing dimensions and quality standards.:
- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.:
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.:
- Maintain 5S, safety standards, and proper documentation in the machine shop.:
- Coordinate with the Design, Production, and Quality teams for machining requirements.





Required Skills:
- Knowledge of conventional/CNC milling machine operations.:
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T; basics.:
- Familiarity with cutting tools, machining parameters, and fixtures.:
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.:
- Basic understanding of SPM machine components.:
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.:
- Strong attention to quality and safety.
- 0-5 years of experience in milling operations (Freshers with ITI/Diploma can also apply).:
- Experience in SPM, industrial automation, machine building, or precision engineering is preferred.:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.:
- Willingness to work in shifts and meet production deadlines.
