About the role

As a Leading Hand Wastewater, you'll play a key role in maintaining, repairing and constructing the City's wastewater infrastructure while leading day-to-day field operations across the network. Working alongside a skilled crew, you'll coordinate resources, organise work programs and support the secure and efficient delivery of essential maintenance and capital works.

This is a varied and hands-on leadership opportunity where you'll lead from the front, mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement across wastewater operations. You'll be involved in a diverse range of specialist activities including:
- Wastewater network maintenance and repairs
- CCTV inspections and sewer investigations
- Sewer rehabilitation works and infiltration/inflow investigations
- Minor construction and renewal works
- Live sewer operations and emergency response activities




- Coordination of plant, contractors and operational resources
