About the function

By fostering constructive relationships and actively participating in industry forums, the Corporate Affairs team ensures alignment with regulatory frameworks while advancing our strategic objectives. This function plays a crucial role in shaping and implementing strategies that drive business growth and reinforce our industry leadership.
About the role
As a Manager - Corporate Affairs, you will be at the forefront of government relations, policy engagement, and strategic advocacy.



Working closely with the Group President – Corporate Affairs and reporting to the General Manager – Corporate Affairs, you will drive initiatives that support business growth and maintain our leadership in the industry.
Key responsibilities:
Government relations and policy advocacy
Lead government-related initiatives that impact GIG’s business interest
Develop and spearhead advocacy efforts on priority issues, engaging leadership in public policy and regulatory advocacy
Engage with government officials and other relevant external stakeholders at all appropriate levels to enhance their understanding of GIG’s products, services and positions, and promote policies that enhance and protect them
Understanding the policy framework, inputs for development and coordination
Collaborate with relevant business leaders to lead and coordinate policy priorities related to business with the Union Government & State Governments in the East and West India Region
