About the Role

Weboconnect Technologies is looking for an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Consultant / Developer to support an upcoming client project involving business process automation and management reporting.

The client already has an existing Power Automate / Power Automate Desktop solution and wants to improve it and make it production-ready. They are also looking to build a management dashboard using their existing Microsoft 365 setting.

The initial engagement will involve reviewing the existing setup, recommending the right architecture, estimating the effort, and then supporting implementation.

Key Responsibilities
Project 1 – Business Process Automation
- Review an existing Power Automate / Power Automate Desktop workflow.
- Understand the existing process and identify gaps.
- Automate processing of files uploaded to SharePoint / Microsoft Teams.
- Extract and validate required information from files.
- Integrate with an existing Excel-based numbering system.
- Implement duplicate detection and prevention.
- Implement error handling,



retry and reprocessing mechanisms.
- Maintain processing status, logging and traceability.
- Evaluate whether Excel should remain the central data store or whether Dataverse / SQL / another solution would be more appropriate.
- Recommend a Microsoft-native or hybrid architecture where appropriate.
- Prepare technical documentation and handover.

Project 2 – Management Dashboard
- Review existing Excel / Microsoft 365 data sources.
- Understand management and controlling reporting requirements.
- Design an appropriate data model.
- Recommend whether Power BI is the best solution or whether an alternative/hybrid architecture is appropriate.
- Build dashboards and KPIs using Power BI where suitable.
- Use Power Query and DAX for data transformation and reporting.
- Ensure appropriate access control and data security.
