Role Description
This is a full-time, in office role for an SMT Programmer located in Silvassa. The SMT Programmer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing SMT machine programs for PCB assembly, including component placement and soldering profiles. Daily tasks include reviewing PCB design files, setting up and validating production runs, troubleshooting programming and process issues, and coordinating with production and quality teams to ensure consistent output. The role also involves maintaining documentation for machine programs,



monitoring line performance, and implementing improvements to reduce defects and increase throughput. Collaboration with engineering and maintenance staff to address equipment-related concerns and support new product introductions is expected.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and general Programming concepts
- Experience with Software Development and Back-End Web Development for tooling or automation
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and structured coding practices
- Previous experience with SMT programming, PCB assembly processes, or electronics manufacturing is highly beneficial
- Ability to read and interpret PCB layouts, BOMs, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with SMT equipment, production line setup, and basic troubleshooting
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
