Job Desc
- Translate complex OEM diagnostic requirements into actionable diagnostic data designs and implementation strategies.
- Identify potential ambiguities or gaps in OEM diagnostic specifications and proactively seek clarification from internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively identify, diagnose, and debug complex issues within diagnostic data, tool interactions, and vehicle communication protocols.
- Implement effective solutions and preventive measures to enhance diagnostic data reliability and accuracy.
- Define best practices, standards, and design patterns for diagnostic data development.
- Stay abreast of emerging automotive diagnostic technologies, protocols, and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our product roadmap.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
- Performing peer reviews of authored diagnostic content
- Simulation test of authored diagnostic content using both virtual setup & Vehicle testing.




- Design & creation of workflow and test sequences using IDEs like BDX or Grade-X

Must Have Skills
- 3-6 years of progressive experience in automotive diagnostics development.
- Robust vehicle system knowledge.
- Must have proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle and make it roadworthy.
- Ability to handle diagnostic testers like VIDA, Xentry, GDS, ADT, SDT-II, DiagBox, HDS, Launch, Autel, G-Scan, Zenith etc.
- Sound knowledge on CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939.
- Good knowledge of tools like SVN, Github, MFALM, JIRA, BDX, Grade-X, IMSIS+, ODX Studio.
- Experience with analyzer & simulation tools from Vector or Samtec e.g., HSX, HS+ etc.

Good to have Skills
- Experience with scripting languages/GEN AI for automation of diagnostic data generation or testing.
- Familiarity with automotive software development processes (ASPICE, ISO 26262).
- Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity aspects related to diagnostics.
