Qualification - B.Sc./M.Sc. Botany

Experience - 2 to 5 years in Taxonomy

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in field expeditions to collect plant specimens from diverse habitats.

2. Properly collecting plant specimens, label, and preserve plant specimens for further analysis.

3. Use morphological, anatomical, and molecular techniques to identify and classify plant species.

4. Maintain accurate records of collected specimens and enter data into taxonomic databases for identification, classification, and documentation of plant species.

5. Work closely with senior taxonomists and researchers to contribute to ongoing projects and studies.

6. Assist in conducting literature reviews, data analysis, and preparation of research reports.

7. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and maintain plant specimen collections,



updating taxonomic databases, and assisting in the publication of research findings.

8. Participate in the organization, curation, and maintenance of plant specimen collections.

9. Collaborate closely with supervisors and researchers to contribute to plant biodiversity studies and conservation efforts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
