Business Development Intern

Job Type: On-site Internship

Duration: 3 months with an opportunity for conversion to a full-time role based on performance

Stipend: ₹15,000 per month

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Overview:

We are looking for an energetic and proactive Business Development Intern to support outbound sales initiatives, identify and qualify prospective customers, and schedule meetings for the sales team. The ideal candidate should have solid communication and interpersonal skills, be comfortable with cold calling, and have an interest in sales, lead generation, and building business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Validation
- Review and validate prospect lists received from the Sales Intelligence team.
- Ensure lead quality and relevance before initiating outreach.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect information.

Outbound Prospecting
- Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and email campaigns.




- Introduce Xpentra and communicate the company's products/services and value proposition to prospective customers.
- Follow up with prospects to generate interest and identify potential business opportunities.

Gatekeeper Management
- Build professional rapport with Executive Assistants and gatekeepers.
- Navigate organizational hierarchies to connect with relevant decision-makers.
- Handle initial objections professionally and maintain a positive approach during outreach.

Discovery & Qualification
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand customer pain points and business requirements.
- Ask relevant questions to assess prospect needs and potential fit.
- Qualify prospects based on Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline (BANT).
- Record relevant prospect information and interactions.

Meeting Scheduling
- Coordinate qualified meetings between prospects and senior sales team members.
- Schedule meetings with relevant decision-makers.
